Medical Departments (Internal Medicine)

Internal Medicine

1) When you are unsure which internal medicine specialty you need.
2) When patients with multiple chronic conditions require comprehensive care.
We act as your primary care physician, helping to reduce overlapping medications and drug interactions, and providing a place where you can consult about anything.
For highly specialized diseases, we collaborate with specialists in those fields to ensure you receive medical care that gives you peace of mind and satisfaction.

Gastroenterology

The digestive system involves organs related to the digestion and absorption of food. We cover a wide range of areas, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
Please consult us if you experience symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, stomach pain/discomfort, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, or bloody stools, or if you have been notified of abnormal test results (e.g., positive fecal occult blood, positive H. pylori, abnormal liver function).

About Examinations & Treatments
In addition to blood tests and X-rays, we perform imaging tests such as abdominal ultrasounds, CT, and MRI scans.
We also perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy, which are essential for diagnosing esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers.

Diabetes Internal Medicine

We provide general care for lifestyle-related diseases, not only diabetes but also dyslipidemia and hypertension.
For conditions that can be improved by adjusting lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise rather than just medication, our registered dietitians, certified diabetes educators, and health/exercise instructors also provide guidance in our diabetes classes.

General Practice

When you suddenly become ill or are unsure which department to visit, we provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment from multiple perspectives, without limiting ourselves to specific organs or diseases.
For those requiring more specialized treatment, we will responsibly refer you to the appropriate specialty department to ensure you receive high-quality medical care.

Medical Departments (Surgery & Others)

Surgery

Our surgery department covers general surgery, gastroenterological surgery, and breast surgery.
Disinfection, suturing, and incision treatments for general injuries (scrapes, cuts, abscesses), as well as the removal of small tumors such as atheromas, are performed in the outpatient examination room.

About Surgeries & Treatments
Surgeries requiring general anesthesia, such as those for inguinal hernias, gallstones, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer, are performed in the 2nd-floor operating room with the cooperation of the Department of Anesthesiology at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine. We also actively perform laparoscopic surgeries.
Chemotherapy for malignant diseases is primarily conducted on an outpatient basis, and we place strong emphasis on palliative care for end-stage cancer.

Dermatology

We provide diagnosis and treatment for all general skin-related diseases.

  • We can diagnose skin tumors, but for surgeries and procedures, we generally refer patients to plastic surgery.
  • We do not provide cosmetic dermatology or non-insurance treatments.

Dentistry & Oral Surgery

In addition to general dental diseases, we also treat oral surgery symptoms related to areas other than teeth, such as the jaw and tongue. We also offer teeth whitening and out-of-pocket treatments.
If you are experiencing any problems with your mouth or jaw, please consult our department.

  • We do not perform orthodontics or dental implants.
  • If tooth extraction or other procedures require general anesthesia, we may refer you to another medical institution.
